The datasheet says ±0.075 %. Installed on the separator, PT-102 is good to ±0.5 % of span, 6.8× worse, and nobody lied.
We give the V-100 pressure transmitter PT-102 its range, scale it to 4–20 mA, set the NAMUR NE 43 alarm currents and build its total probable error by root-sum-square.
| Item | Value |
|---|---|
| PT-102 range | 0–20 barg on a 70 bar sensor (turndown 3.5:1) |
| 12 barg normal | 60 % of span = 13.60 mA |
| NAMUR NE 43 | live 3.8–20.5 mA; fail ≤ 3.6 / ≥ 21 mA |
| Total probable error (RSS) | ±0.102 bar = 0.51 % span = 0.85 % of reading |
| Largest term | 5-year stability, 0.44 % span |
